The Vision
Here's the basic GIST of
what God has called us, as a ministry, to do here among the Hakka
Chinese of Taiwan:

Goals
Our heart's desire is to plant a movement of growing churches in the
key Hakka towns and cities of Miaoli County … generally considered
to be the most unreached of the four main Hakka counties in Taiwan.
(See map)
Ideals
When all is said and done, we'd like to see these on-fire churches
rise up under the complete direction of local Hakka leadership and, by
God's grace, reach not only their own cities and towns, but also those
surrounding rural communities and villages as well.
Strategies
We've
adopted the cell church structure as our model for planting these
churches among the Hakka Chinese. Cell groups are simply small groups
of believers (6-12) who meet weekly in local homes to worship, study
the Bible, pray, and encourage one another. (They also gather together
monthly for larger "Celebration" meetings.)
To succeed at getting these cell churches up and thriving, we are focusing our ministry efforts around the tasks of evangelism,
discipleship, intercession, and leadership development.
Targets
Our sights are set hard on reaching the five (5) key Miaoli
County cities and towns of Toufen (90,000), Miaoli City (89,000), Gunguan (30,000), Tungluo (22,000), and Sanyi (19,000.) (See map)
At the present time, we're in the final stages of the church planting
process in Toufen(see Toufen Plant), the
intermediate stages in Miaoli City (see Miaoli
City Plant) and the pioneering phases in Gungguan (see
Gungguan Plant.) We are hoping - and
praying - to begin new works in Tungluo and Sanyi as more workers
become available.
